Grilled Portobello Mushrooms
(Serves 6)
- 6 Portobello Mushrooms
- ½ cup olive oil
- 1 finely chopped clove garlic
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
- Carefully remove mushroom stalks by laying them flat and gently working stalks back and forth until they snap off. Remove peel from mushroom caps.
- Combine oil with the rest of ingredients.
- Brush mushroom caps on both sides with oil. Place stalk side down on grill over med- high heat 3 minutes. Turn carefully with spatula and grill another 3 minutes.
