Grilled Portobello Mushrooms
(Serves 6)

  • 6 Portobello Mushrooms
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • 1 finely chopped clove garlic
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
  1. Carefully remove mushroom stalks by laying them flat and gently working stalks back and forth until they snap off. Remove peel from mushroom caps.
  2. Combine oil with the rest of ingredients.
  3. Brush mushroom caps on both sides with oil. Place stalk side down on grill over med- high heat 3 minutes. Turn carefully with spatula and grill another 3 minutes.
