Recipes - Tried and True

For many years, we ran a newspaper ad as well as weekly specials flyers. We always included recipes based on ingredients that were featured as specials. We have quite a collection of WGS recipes, which we will be adding to this site soon.

Many of these recipes come from our tried and true collection accumulated over the years when we ran ads in our local newspaper. They come from many sources - family, friends, customers (who became our friends), cookbooks, out of our own heads. The one thing they all have in common is that these recipes work, and they are delicious.

This is our Summer recipe collection. They feature obviously seasonal ingredients, often locally-obtained. They focus on cool, refreshing and laid-back style of summer cooking.
